The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition was held in June, 2018. This competition is the largest and the oldest international school’s writing competition. This year, 53 Commonwealth countries across the five region of commonwealth participated in this competition.
The theme of this year’s competition was:
“How the commonwealth can address global challenges and
work to create a better future for all citizens, particularly young people”.
Sixteen students from Green Dale International School took part in this competition in both senior and junior categories. Four students from the senior category won three silver awards and one bronze. One silver and one bronze awards were won in the junior category.
